The Speedwatch Team are looking for volunteers who can spare a couple of hours in the Springtime to work in teams of 3 to monitor vehicles coming through the village. In February the top speed clocked was 70mph on Infield Road.
Having Speedwatch teams have proven to make drivers more conscious of their speed. Typically police will act after two reports of speeding vehicles and will issue warnings - this cannot happen without a Speedwatch Team
